   Responsibilities:•Worked on enhancing MerchantE authorization platform with EMV capability by modifying the existing webservice applications, updates to Postgres db and some non-real time event-based java applications like batch extraction and settlement to allow the end-to-end processing of transactions made with chip-enabled cards.•Implemented Time out reversal project to store the transaction id received in original transaction request in the Redis cache and keep the status updated to avoid multiple transaction in case the client didn’t receive its status. •Involved in FutureX project to facilitate the encryption of Debit PIN using FutureX (cloud-based hardware security model), and developed an asynchronously running heartbeat service that makes sure the connection to HSM is always alive. In case of failures logging so that the alerts configured in splunk can be monitored and escalated as needed. Also, created Runbook for the FutureX project by coordinating with FutureX, Devops, Networking and Security teams to capture error monitoring and handling for the possible outage scenarios. •Implemented LaunchDarkly Allows for real time feature enablement (based on rules and additional criteria) without need to implement custom feature flag code in the application and /or need to manually update configuration or restart the application.
