About Alexander Collins

Employment highlights include: o 25 years of experience in IT including VP positions at major banks (Chase, Citi, Citizens Financial) as well as positions at small startups & financial service providers (Fiserv/EDS); positions have included almost every facet of software development.o While working for J.P. Morgan Chase’ Cyber Security division, built out a global Java and.Net development team from scratch to a team of 19 employees & contractors including 5 Vice Presidents reporting directly to me, all of whom supported Chase’ Privileged Access Management (PAM) program.o Created and led a project management group for a division of Fiserv, re-engineering their software development processes such that releases went from being routinely several months late to always being delivered on time every 6 to 7 weeks, leading to very ecstatic clients.o Formerly, worked as a Senior IT Development Manager for Citi, supporting a.Net and Java authorization system utilized by over a dozen Citibank applications and supporting over corporate users among clients throughout the world.o In various capacities, commonly reverse engineered, documented, and gave presentations on both company-specific technologies as well as standard ones such as OAuth2 and Kerberos, often having to demystify the very convoluted enterprise implementations created by my employers. In one case, I re-wrote a client-interfacing document causing L4 inquiries to go from 2 a day to once every other month.o Have performed extensive computer programming, troubleshooting, and enterprise solution architecting in various capacities at Chase, EDS/Fiserv, Live Gamer, Brilig (Merkle), and Citi. Technologies and programming languages I’ve used have included: Visual C++, C#, Java, PHP, DirectX, MySQL, Unreal Engine, Wireshark, Fiddler, SQL Server, Oracle, IIS, Tomcat, and Apache HTTP server.o Worked as a nuclear engineering project manager while serving as a Naval Officer.Additional Highlights:• Worked as a Pro Bono Attorney for Legal Services of SE Michigan while earning my MBA at U. of Mich.• Received one of the top four scores of over 2500 examinees, on the May Maryland CPA examination despite having taken only a few accounting classes.• Received a patent for a privileged access management tool I developed while working at J.P. Morgan Chase• Served as a White House Volunteer for over two years.• Possess Professional Engineering (PE), Bar (law), and CPA licenses.• Completed courses in Quantum Computing via MIT’s xPro continuing education program.
