About Unique Acevedo

Electrical Engineering student at Rutgers University with a strong interest in hardware systems, embedded electronics, and the technologies that power modern devices. I enjoy building and analyzing electronic systems from the ground up, with hands-on experience in PCB design (KiCad), circuit analysis, embedded microcontroller systems, and signal processing.Through academic labs and independent projects, I’ve designed and tested hardware including sensor-based systems and custom circuit boards, gaining experience with component selection, debugging, and system-level testing. I’m particularly interested in the intersection of hardware and software—where electronics, firmware, and data come together to create functional systems.Outside of engineering projects, I bring leadership and operational experience from managing a high-volume retail store and supporting technology systems used in day-to-day operations, including RFID inventory and POS hardware. These experiences have strengthened my ability to solve problems quickly, collaborate across teams, and work effectively in fast-paced environments.I’m currently seeking opportunities in hardware engineering, embedded systems, or silicon/SoC development where I can continue building real-world systems and contribute to innovative technologies.GitHub: github.com/uniqueacevedo
