Hi there! I’m the Owner/Operator of Chick-fil-A Nassau Bay, where I believe that a dining room table isn’t just a place for meals—it’s where connections are made, stories are shared, and memories are created. During my first year serving as the Operator of Chick-fil-A Nassau Bay, I attended a fundraising gala in Houston. I quickly noticed an artist was working on a “live painting,” which would be auctioned off later that night. I immediately felt a connection to the painting as it was coming together in front of me. I loved the diversity of the different types of food on the table, as well as the different ethnicities of the people sharing the meal. It reminded me of my application to become a Chick-fil-A Operator. When asked why I was interested in owning and operating a franchised restaurant, I thought back to the dining room table in my childhood home. This was a central point where my family came together daily. My mom cooked delicious, authentic meals, and my dad ensured we maintained this tradition and the tight family bonds it created. Our dining room table was a place where genuine conversations took place. We talked about our hopes, goals, and dreams for the future. My parents shared memories of their childhood days in Pakistan, their journey of moving to America, and the challenges they faced along the way. We laughed, cried, had debates, and at times agreed to disagree around our dining room table. At Chick-fil-A Nassau Bay, I strive to create a culture where my team members and the community can gather at tables to discuss their own hopes, goals, and dreams. Where they too, laugh, cry, debate, and agree to disagree. I imagine my restaurant as a second dining room for many, a place where family and friends can enjoy a delicious meal and create memories that will last a lifetime.
