In my current role at JABIL, I am responsible for leading various Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relating to manufacturing efficiency, particularly focusing on First Pass Yield (FPY), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), cycle times, machine breakdowns, and Parts Per Million (PPM) metrics. My experience has primarily revolved around optimizing production processes within Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and backend lines, which are critical for maintaining high standards in quality control and efficiency. For instance, I analyze real-time data to identify operational bottlenecks that lead to machine breakdowns or low yield rates. By conducting in-depth root cause analyses, I work actively with cross-functional teams (CFT) to implement corrective actions that renew operational flow and eliminate inefficiencies. Additionally, I track improvements and regularly present findings to management, ensuring that the operations team is aligned with overall business objectives. These experiences have not only sharpened my analytical and problem-solving skills but have also reinforced the significance of cross-team collaboration in achieving our KPIs, thus firmly establishing a culture of continuous improvement around performance metrics.
