ABOUT UMESH PATEL

I have just started a 12 month secondment to support and evolve the Customer Advocacy programs at HiBob. It\'s great to be working with energetic humans who are passionate about helping HR professionals. This makes working more meaningful and worth while!Before this, I set my own consultancy to support organisations who wanted to start or grow their Customer Advocacy programs. Prior to this I built and lead Customer Marketing and Advocacy at Brightmine, helping customers to stay compliant and strategic in their HR challenges. Prior to this, I have worked for a B2B Agency, plus 20+ years in the IT industry, for Commvault, and Fujitsu. I have also worked in the Utilities sector at United Utilities. Through these experiences, I\'ve been able to develop my skills, insights and passion to be Customer centric. I am a Chartered Manager and a Chartered Marketeer, with a MBA in senior leadership from Henley Business School. Experienced in matrix global roles, where I enjoy working with cross-functional teams from different cultures. I especially enjoy nurturing relationships with customers as well as sales/marketing leadership, and am experienced in the multifaceted disciplines of marketing i.e. ABM, Event planning, brand development, campaign management and communications. My passion is to demonstrate the value of our customers through their voice to build trust and empathy to achieve common goals.Volunteering is a big part of who I am, hence acting as a Governor Trustee for a local Education Academy and a volunteer at a faith based community centre, helping the elderly, mentoring the youth and supporting local citizens.You can learn more about me by clicking on the links in the ‘Featured’ section.
