Managed the program/business unit responsible for the design and installation of all Networking and connectivity for Rides, Attractions, Resorts, Restaurants, Shows and Parades at Disney World Orlando. The scope of this could range anywhere from CCTV or POS systems, Fiber connectivity, Wi-Fi refresh/expansion, or the network and firewalls for each individual ride/attraction- Managed the privacy, compliance, and data protection standards with the cybersecurity business unit to ensure all laws, regulations, and protection was guaranteed-Migrated legacy Cisco network infrastructure to modernize, improve, and align all of the Disney Global Network(DGN) with an Azure backbone- Rolling schedule of 85-100 efforts going at any given time-Used Agile/Scrum methodologies along with JIRA and SAP to keep the program on track, within budget, and resolving issues efficiently- Responsible for Resource Management and Vendor Management of the BNDS team, which was about 30-35 engineers and cohorts- Reported weekly to Executives on progress of the program as a whole and KPI’s to reach BNDS objectives and keep us a profitable business unit- Worked hand in hand with NetOps and DevOps to ensure continual monitoring and assistance of live networks may need-Utilized ServiceNow to ensure all issues were resolved to keep a live network throughout the Parks & Resorts, having little to no downtime-Utilized SAP and Clarity to track Capital Expenditure of the program, labor, and other financial metrics to stay within budget of the program for that Fiscal Year.
