ABOUT UMAR RUHI
I am a Professor at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa where I teach various undergraduate (BCom) and graduate (MBA and Executive MBA) level courses in Digital Enterprise Strategy, and Cyber Security Management. Additionally, I am a Principal Professor in the University of Ottawa’s interdisciplinary MSc and PhD programs in Digital Transformation & Innovation. Most of my courses comprise an integration of themes and topics related to business strategy and technology applications.My research interests lie at the intersection of Information Systems and Knowledge Management, and my research programs are concerned with exploring contemporary information and communication technologies (ICTs) and their applications in human, organizational, and social contexts. My current research interests include human-AI collaboration, AI literacy, AI governance, and digital misinformation.
