Reporting directly into the Chief Diversity Officer (C-Suite), I currently lead strategy and execution of DEI & B partnerships across all Yahoo properties. My work spans from managing Yahoo\'s global PRIDE campaigns and other pillar month activations, to designing strategic partnerships that create spaces for and empower marginalized communities (internally at Yahoo and externally for our audiences). I work to drive engagement and brand recognition, strengthen company culture, and develop diverse talent pipelines, and my role requires cross-functional collaboration across Creative, Brand, PR, Editorial, Marketing, Content, Legal, and HR. I also launched and manage our Yahoo Multimedia Journalism Fellowship program which aims to bring diverse voices - specifically Black, Latinx, and Asian-American fellows - to our award-winning newsrooms (Yahoo News, Sports, Finance, and Entertainment/Lifestyle). I also partner regularly with our Multicultural Content and Media teams to collaborate on inclusive content opportunities and partnerships.
