As the Project Lead Architect for the Gurgaon Railway Station Redevelopment Project under RLDA, I oversee the architectural development from concept design to on-site execution, working with TUV India Pvt Ltd appointed as the Project Management Consultant (PMC). My responsibilities span the entire architectural scope, ensuring the project aligns with design standards, regulations, and stakeholder expectations.I lead design activities, providing strategic direction across all stages, ensuring design guidelines and quality benchmarks are met. I manage and approve submissions from the EPC Design and Development Consultant (DDC), ensuring they meet both functional and aesthetic requirements while adhering to timelines and budgets.On-site, I regularly monitor design implementation, collaborating with construction teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless coordination between design and execution. As the primary architectural liaison, I facilitate communication between contractors, consultants, and RLDA representatives to maintain alignment on project goals and incorporate stakeholder input.I maintain strict quality control, ensuring compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and industry practices while safeguarding the architectural integrity throughout the project’s lifecycle. In addition, I address design challenges by proposing innovative solutions that optimize space, functionality, and cost-efficiency. My decision-making involves careful consideration of materials, structural elements, and spatial layouts to align with the project\'s vision.Reporting and documentation are also integral parts of my role, as I prepare regular updates on design progress, approvals, and any potential project impacts.In summary, my role ensures the architectural elements of the Gurgaon Railway Station Redevelopment Project meet both functional and aesthetic demands while staying aligned with the project’s overarching goals.
