Experience in sampling of water and air; phase 1 and 2 environmental site assessment; sub-surface investigations.I have pursued Bachelor\'s in Environmental Engineering from Shivaji University, Kolhapur and currently pursuing my Masters at Texas Tech University in Civil Engineering as my major and Environmental Engineering as my minor. I am passionate about working in Environmental Engineering field, which has acquaintances with the areas like physical, chemical and natural water/wastewater treatment system, EHS, waste management, green building, environmental compliance, environmental chemistry, fluid mechanics and environmental impact assessment.I have worked as Environmental Engineer Intern with EHS team at ZF Transmissions where I followed up activities such as:1) Designed, operated, and eliminated problems with evaporator system for oil and grease removal from wastewater.2) Designed a skimming tank for oil removal from wastewater.3) Reviewed and improved documentation of EMS to Solid waste reduction, transportation, disposal, and reuse planning. 5) Compliance and permitting for hazardous waste and completion of the MSDS.6) Designing the prototype model to check and ensure effective treatment for oil removal from wastewater. Achievements: 1) Paper presentation at All India Seminar on “Assessment of Groundwater Quality Index using Water Quality Index Method”.
