A trauma informed, queer friendly practitioner with 5+ years of experience in the mental health sector. The extensive roles as a Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Behavior Coach, Consultant, Wellness Trainer, Professor, Counseling Supervisor, Content Writer has helped gain intellectual insights in the Mental health field. Highly passionate about my profession and committed to working with people to improve their mental wellbeing. I thoroughly believe in “the self is sufficient” and that every individual is capable of doing great things in life.I seek an eclectic approach of techniques during therapy sessions to promote physical, mental and emotional well-being of the individual and help improve their quality of life. My practice also involves therapeutic integration of the body and mind through various psychotherapies involving dialogue and movement.With diverse training and a multidisciplinary approach, I continue to work with varied populations, including primary caregivers of PWDs, children and teens from dysfunctional families and vulnerable backgrounds, students and adults, patients with BPAD, depression, anxiety and personality issues to name a few.To add on to my skill set, my certification programs include NLP, CBT, Grief and Bereavement Counseling, Gender Sensitization and Feminist Therapy, Marriage and Couple Therapy, Drug Addiction at NIMHANS.Having extensively worked on projects that covered topics related to addressing abuse, mental health awareness and self-care, my way of therapy is ‘free flowing’ with the aim to create a safe space for my clients and promote a strong therapeutic presence so that individuals can explore themselves without fear of judgment and begin to recognize their highest potential.I promisingly incorporate in every session what I strongly believe in - Acceptance and empowerment is the key to holistic wellness.
