While working for Deloitte, she was given an opportunity to travel to work in the US ( NY & Philly office) for a brief period of time in the year 2010 and year 2012. She left Deloitte in 2013 and moved to Dubai, UAE to stay with her family, who were already in UAE. She joined an online shopping website, Shoponz.com as the Operations Head in 2014, and added several feathers on her cap with managing Products apart from the Operations. She worked for Shoponz.com for 2 years. Uma then moved back to India to EY GDS starting Dec 2018 as US Tax Senior working on mid and high-net-worth individuals. As an assistant manager, Uma has signed returns for TaxChat clients, while on PCS clients, has been a detailed reviewer. Uma is now in Dallas, Texas serving PCS clients working on entity and individual clients as a Tax Senior. Uma is accustomed to a fast-paced environment and she is not afraid to sit in a classroom to learn.
