About Po-Chun Yeh
I am a self-driven, conscientious, well-poised professional with solid communication skills and excellent mathematical, computational and experimental foundations. I am currently working at Apple as a TFT panel process engineer, developing new architecture, process, and devices.My PhD study grants me an unique scope in ultrathin novel semiconductor materials such as graphene and MoS2, for next-generation supercomputer, high-capacity and low-cost car battery, as well as bendable electronic devices. My study focus on their characterization, surface and electronic structure, and fabrication.My technical knowledge comprises a wide range of skills including electronics, material science, optics, and programming. During my PhD, I collaborated with several national labs (BNL, Elettra) and research groups around the globe (Germany, Italy, Croatia). I have given presentations on my works at several international conferences and research institutions.Reliable, productive and goal-driven scientist with publications in 10+ high-impact prominent journals. I have been co-author of several works published in different peer-reviewed journals including Physical Review Letters, Physical Review B, Physical Review X, ACS Nano, and Journal of Physical Chemistry C. In Apple, I am working on several projects and is patenting new technology development in my field of study.
