ABOUT ULY KIM

I started in the mortgage business in 1997 and cut my teeth doing 150-200 funded loans per month in the world famous Countywide Home Loans call centers. I have always enjoyed learning about people and their interests. I have enjoyed educating and consulting business partners, friends and clients on the day to day mortgage challenges, especially during the gloomy days of 20••••09. As I look back, people looked for guidance and our team remained accessible and available. As I have grown as a person, my career has led me to managing branches for Countrywide Home Loans, Bank of America and currently PrimeLending. I have a passion helping people become better versions of themself. I feel very fortunate to help and watch people grow, personally and professionally around me. I have been fortunate to have amazing mentors who have provided guidance through my career. My recent journey has taken me to company that focuses on many of the core values and attributes I hold in high regard. A book by Jason Jennings,\"Think Big, Act Small\"​ talks about 7 attributes that echo into what I believe in: Stewardship, Transparency, Accessibility, Low-Key Demeanor, Strong Work Ethic, Stand for Something, and No Superficial Distinctions. My goal is to continue to become a better version of myself. I firmly believe and come to realize, when you are becoming a leader, success is about growing yourself. When you become a leader, success is about growing other people. I continue to learn from those around me.
