Interventional cardiologist (advanced plumber) with strong interest in advanced, novel therapies. Extensive experience in both structural and peripheral arenas. Including EVAR/TEVAR (aortic aneurysms/dissections), as well as TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman (novel valvular therapies). Likewise I have extensive experience with plugging holes (PFO, ASD, VSD, PVL). I also treat complex and high risk coronary artery disease and have done hundreds of unprotected left main procedures with and without percutaneous ventricular support. Training has spanned OHSU, Stanford, Cedars Sinai, and Leipzig, Germany. Career has spanned both east and west coasts of the US as I advanced from Assistant to Associate Professor. Recently I was Director of TAVR and Structural Heart Disease and Aortic Pathologies at Kaiser Permanente in Portland, Or.
