The World Bank’s Africa Gender Innovation Lab (AGIL) supports women and girls to achieve equality by learning what does and does not work to close gender gaps in earnings, productivity, assets, and agency, and using these insights to shape policy. My role focuses on- Managing a multi-stakeholder portfolio under a Gates Foundation and Global Affairs Canada–funded initiative expanding women’s access to finance in Ethiopia. I oversee the responsible administration, tracking, and reporting of donor-funded resources- Supporing the design of new technical work, and manage high-level partnerships with central banks, ministries, financial institutions, and innovation ecosystems- Ensuring timely, compliant deliverables across a complex portfolio, maintain results frameworks- Guiding project teams to align with donor requirements, institutional policies, and evidence-generation priorities.
