Experienced investment professional with 30+ years experience in capital markets, asset management and risk modelling. Areas of dedicated expertise cover: liquid alternative risk premia, factor investing, alternative beta, equities, multi asset, tactical asset allocation, financial risk management, behavioral finance, decision theory, FIS (formerly Sungard-) APT risk models, quantitative & systematic-discretionary investment processes, portfoliomanagement. Since 2010 at ALPHA CENTAURI, an independent multi-asset boutique founded in 2005 and based in Hamburg, Germany. The company is specialized in liquid alternatives - with a special emphasis on equity factor investing. The team has a strong focus on innovation and developed the iSTOXX Europe- and iSTOXX USA factor indices, paving the way for the first European factor futures at EUREX as well as the first marketneutral factor ETF globally. Moreover, during a research project in cooperation with ISS ESG in 2016/2017, the team proved evidence, that climate change is already priced in European equity markets. The results led to Climate Smart Long/Short, which went live in 2017 and was (one of) the first combining equity factors and low carbon investing in a Long/Short setup.
