As a Senior Malaria Advisor at USAID, over ten years of experience has been dedicated to leading the President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI) in Nigeria and Liberia. The role emphasizes technical expertise, program leadership for design, implementation, and monitoring, donor coordination, national capacity strengthening and engagement with host government to combat malaria and other infectious diseases. Contributions include representing PMI/USAID at key forums and facilitating malaria technical working groups to promote evidence-based solutions particularly use of data driven solutions. With focus on policy analysis and formulation at the central level and detailed implementation roll-out at sub-national levels, helped with introduction of malaria vaccine. Collaboration with the Global Fund has been central, including serving as the Chair of Technical Oversight Committe of Country Coordination Mechanism. Previous experience as a Senior Malaria Program Specialist and Acting Global Health Security Advisor further cemented expertise in program design, implementation, monitoring and reporting including managing multimillion-dollar health programs. Responsibilities included coordinating national health security efforts and fostering partnerships with stakeholders. With skills in immunization, health policy formulation, and project management continue to drive impactful results in global health initiatives. I have experience working with government systems, financial management, donor management and coordination. Together with excellent communication and human management skills, I have succeeded in career across multiple countries and cultures.
