Lead and manage global employment law matters for all our international businesses in EMEA, APAC, and LATAM, including cross border internal investigations, global mobility, global talent acquisition, reorganizations, employment contracts, training and development, digital privacy, terminations, layoffs, and other workforce reductions, work councils and other employee representative bodies, pay transparency, AI regulations; ensuring compliance with local, national, and international laws, and supporting business initiatives while protecting company interests.• Provide proactive, strategic, practical, and business-oriented counsel to HR and management on all aspects of domestic (and North America) employment law matters, including recruiting, employee relations, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, performance management, restrictive covenants, discipline and separations, reorganizations and reductions-in-force, leaves of absence and accommodations, wage and hour, Affirmative Action, EEO and other compliance, contingent and contract workers, and other corporate and strategic transactions.• Support Divestiture and M&A activities involving employment matters, including overseeing employment-related diligence, and assisting with post-close integration. • Negotiate and draft employment, separation and settlement agreements.• Provide guidance on development of HR policies, procedures, and training.• Strategically manage employment litigation and other claims including complaints, agency charges, attorney and settlement demands, audits; and manage outside counsel.• Monitor emerging employment law-related developments and risks, regulations, and opportunities globally that may impact our business and proactively advise on timely and practical adjustments to policies, practices, and procedures as necessary.
