About Udodilim Nnamdi
As an international lawyer with experience across law, international development, and global justice, my background is grounded in public international law, international human rights litigation, high-stakes cross-border treaty disputes, multilateral and transnational accountability frameworks, investor–state arbitration, and sovereign-client representation. With a JD from Columbia Law School and an LLM in International Criminal Law from the University of Amsterdam, I have experiences at Foley Hoag LLP, UN International Organization for Migration, Georgetown Law\'s Center on National Security, Wallace Global Fund, and U.S. Department of Justice. I have also interned at the UN Mandate on Extreme Poverty & Human Rights, Center for Justice and Accountability (CJA) and the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR), where I conducted legal research and writing to support cases and amicus briefs. I am skilled in multi-jurisdictional litigation, leadership engagement, donor communications, and cross- sector collaboration, with a proven record of supporting executive leaders, developing narrative strategies, and fostering partnerships with multilateral organizations, foundations, and sovereign governments. As an associate at Foley Hoag LLP, a leading law firm in international dispute resolution, I specialized in representing sovereign states in cases involving international investment and public international law. I also had a robust international human rights pro bono practice. My mission is to interrogate and refine our understanding of international justice and to utilize innovative litigation strategies to deter torture, war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide, and other severe human rights abuses around the world. I am passionate about advancing the cause of human dignity and accountability in the global arena.
