ABOUT UDOCHI NWAODU NWAODU

I Commenced my professional career in 1989 with Coopers & Lybrands (now PriceWaterhouse Coopers) after graduating in 1988 with First Class Honours in Management & Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife. I qualified as a chartered accountant (ACA) and Chartered Banker (ACIB) both in 1990 and started my journey into the banking industry in May 1991 with the defunct Allstates Trust Bank as an Internal Auditor and then joined Diamond Bank as the pioneer Chief Internal Audit Executive and Head of Internal Controls in August 1992 upto April 1995. Also served as branch head of operations Aba and branch manager Onitsha in Diamond Bank, May 1995 – Oct before leaving for Continental Trust Bank as Assistant General Manager/Chief Internal Auditor and Head of Risk Management in November Later joined Standard Trust Bank, STB, in August 2004 as Deputy General Manager and was part of the team that handled the merger of legacy United Bank for Africa, UBA, and STB in 2005. I remained in UBA till August 2017 where I played several diversified roles at senior management and group levels.
