ABOUT UDITANSHU MEHTA

Working in the entertainment industry for the last 20 years. Mainly worked in the TV industry. In the past have worked as an AVP for the TV division at UTV and the programing head at SAB Tv. This was at the time when the Progarmming profile turned from Youth to Comedy. Launched a number of shows including Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashmah. Have also worked in a few feature films in various capacities, the last being Jhootha Hi Sahi as the Associate director. Worked as the programming head for Big Magic TV, a comedy channel owned by the Reliance Broadcast Network Limited. Writing, directing, producing and even acting are some of my core skills. Though, having been a part of the industry for nearly two decades I\'m quite at home doing pretty much anything that involves making films or TV shows. At UTV, have creatively led shows like Bhabhi, Shanno ki Shaadi, Sharaarat, Shakalaka Boom Boom, Shakira, Meher, Kabhi Hero kabhi Zero and many others. As an independent CD, have done both Fiction and non fiction shows such as Saarthi, Krishnaben Khakrawala, Sab Khelo Sab Jeeto, Wah wah Kya baat hai, TV, Biwi Aur Main and several special TV events for festivals. Recently, also creatively helmed and Directed a non fiction show based on E- Gaming called U-Cypher for Mtv Have started own Production House called Elio Motion Pictures. We’re involved in creating and producing premium content for TV and OTT Platforms. Our first release, Madhuri Talkies on MX Player has been received really well by audience and critics alike Started my career in Delhi with Ad films for Hero Honda, Eicher Tractors, NTC, KLM and Marie Stopes Clinics. Also made several documentaries on environmental, social subjects and Sports. Directed a limited series on Indigenous Indian sports like Akhada wrestling, Gatka and Mallakhamba. Special consultant filmmaker for Ministry of Defence.
