ABOUT UDIT NARAYAN
I am currently pursuing M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence at IIT Patna, where my research focuses on Generative AI, LLM Optimization, GPU Acceleration, Deep Reinforcement Learning and scalable Machine Learning systems. I am the first author of a research paper Published at BigData 2025, where I proposed CEC-DuelNet, a relational deep RL architecture for coded edge computing offloading. The work demonstrates how modeling structural relationships between distributed compute nodes can significantly reduce system latency compared to traditional DRL baselines. Before my master’s, I spent 2 years at Wipro working on real-world industrial ML deployments for Ford’s global manufacturing operations. I contributed to predictive maintenance solutions built on large-scale telemetry data, helping improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime in production environments. I am particularly interested in problems that sit at the intersection of machine learning research and real-world system performance — including Generative AI, distributed ML systems, and applied deep learning. I am actively seeking Applied Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer roles where I can contribute to building efficient, scalable AI systems grounded in strong research thinking.
