I am currently an accounting student with hands-on industry experience, working at BDO Canada to graduate with excellent skills and a competitive edge. I am proud to be part of a team has given me a deeper appreciation for the communities I serve.Throughout my roles, I have gained proficiency in multiple accounting systems, including Sage 300, Xyntax, Caseware, QuickBooks, iFirm, and Sage 50. These technical skills have enhanced my ability to handle complex financial data with precision and efficiency.Before joining BDO, I completed a co-op term in Williams Lake with PMT CPAs, where I experienced a rigorous tax season. During that time, I became proficient in TaxCycle and DoxCycle by Xero, equipping me with essential tax preparation and filing skills under high-pressure conditions.In addition to my co-op experiences, I am passionate about giving back to the community. Through the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) by the CRA, I volunteered 96 hours in two months, using UFile to help a diverse range of clients with their tax returns. This experience strengthened my client service abilities and inspired me to continue volunteering each year.Looking forward, I am committed to expanding my expertise, building relationships, and creating meaningful contributions in accounting and financial services.Let’s connect!
