Through hard work, dedication, and a clear ability to innovate my team was awarded the development of a new digital SW-defined payload to replace the current analog payload of the OneWeb constellation. This new payload will start replacing the old analog payload as a part of the Eutelsat-OneWeb constellation replenishment program.To accomplish this task, I relocated with my family to the UK to establish Ramon.Space UK development site executing the OneWeb project while in parallel also developing additional advanced SATCOM payload technologies. Building the team in the UK from scratch while in parallel leading the rest of the team in Israel and all along keeping the development of this complex and advanced piece of tech has been a challenge that I’m extremely proud of pulling off. Apart from developing a fully flagged SW-defined telecom payload with an extremely aggressive SWaP-C and a demanding specifications and timeline through this we’ve also “built to machine to build the machines”. The team, the facilities, the methods, and the IP we’ve developed through this project in the past two years will allow Ramon.Space to take bigger and more challenging program in the future with reduced risk, time, and cost. Within this role I also led the team in the development of cutting-edge 5G-ready telecom payloads, utilizing advanced space-rated chip technology.We’ve collaborated to innovate new signal processing architectures for robust connectivity in deep space and terrestrial networks and achieved industry-leading results in space communication technology, pushing the boundaries of what\'s possible in the field.
