My work has spanned leadership roles at Sony Pictures Networks India, Sony Entertainment Television, Star TV, and Channel [V], shaping some of the country’s most recognisable Hindi movie and youth brands.Currently, I serve as SVP & Head – Programming for the Hindi Movie Channel cluster at Sony Pictures Networks India, where I oversee channel strategy, programming architecture, film acquisitions, brand positioning, and long-horizon content planning.My career has evolved from hands-on creative work into leadership at the intersection of content, audience insight, and business outcomes. I have led the launch and repositioning of multiple channels, including Sony MAX 2, Sony WAH, Sony MAX 1, and Sony MAX HD, and have worked closely with leading Bollywood studios and creative talent on marquee integrations and premieres.Storytelling has been a foundational influence in my life. Growing up in a household deeply connected to performance and broadcasting — my father an actor and voice artist, my mother an All India Radio announcer and theatre actor — I was exposed early to the disciplines of voice, narrative, and performance.
