Analyst working alongside Senior Category Managers to generate insight from spend data across British Sugar which drives the overall Category savings and value-generation strategy and implementation.\\\\n- Responsible for Inbound Logistics, Monthly Board Review reports, and working close with the Finance department to reconcile savings.\\\\n- Lead for Anti-bribery & corruption assessments, supplier financial health checks and compliance to contracts.\\\\n\\\\nKEY ACHIEVEMENTS\\\\n Procurement lead for the £12.5m beet haulage tender (influencing £50m total spend) to move beet from grower farms to all 4 British Sugar factory sites. Managed information of growers across the UK and co-led negotiations with 35+ hauliers on rates, contract lengths and route allocations. Drove efficiency improvements by creating VBA tools used during haulier negotiations, reducing analysis effort from 30 days down to 1 day.\\\\n Managing British Sugar data flows into ABF (parent company) spend cube to identify group wide opportunities.\\\\n Significantly improved the quality and frequency of spend analytics. Used SQL & PowerBI to query relevant information from JDE database, create insightful dashboards and automate the entire reporting process.\\\\n Developed a professional standardised tender pack now being used across British Sugar for Capex projects.\\\\n Supported the PQQ for a £40m sugar-silo Capex project. Contacted candidates, issued questionnaires, visited reference sites internationally and presented recommendations on suppliers to take forward to the RFx stage.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
