From crunching numbers on spreadsheets to analyzing billion-dollar private equity funds, my finance journey has been anything but conventional.With a background rooted in science and a family tradition of engineering, I chose a different path—one where I could blend my analytical instincts with strategic problem-solving. This decision led me to pursue a BBA in Finance and Accountancy at Christ University, Bengaluru, where I also completed 10 out of 13 ACCA papers. During my academic years, I sought to explore every dimension of the financial world, one opportunity at a time.My hands-on journey began in business development at a startup, where I was introduced to the gritty side of operational finance—achieving revenue targets on a shoestring budget. Eager to explore market-facing roles, I transitioned into wealth management, where I used technical and fundamental analysis to craft real-time trading strategies for derivatives and equity markets.This growing exposure eventually drew me to the core of finance, understanding businesses from the ground up. At Crediwatch, I worked as a credit analyst, evaluating the creditworthiness of MSMEs and contributing to the development of a machine learning–based Trust Score model, integrating data analytics with financial intuition.Today, as a Private Equity Analyst at TresVista, I work at the intersection of investing, strategy, and due diligence. I’ve conducted detailed financial and strategic analysis on over 150 private equity funds, supported investment decisions deploying over $575 million, benchmarked performance across global indices, and developed pitch decks, IC memos, and due diligence questionnaires. Benchmarking the returns generated by PE funds against Global Market Indices (MSCI World, S&P 500, S&P 600 Small Cap, Russel Nikkei) based on manager\'s geographic exposure.3. Creating decks using comprehensive models, thorough research, independent case studies of portfolio companies, and hypothesis development.4.
