Stonehill International School is an up-end International School following only IB syllabus in Bangalore with a student- Teacher Ratio of 13:1. The 95% of the Students are Expats, whose parents are in Bangalore on contract for 3 to 4 years. As Teacher Associate of the Music Faculty, I was in charge of the Primary, Middle and Diploma students in Music with Piano. My aim is to train them into becoming individual Musicians by working out on notations, chord progressions, various articulations, dynamics, etc and allowing them to use these tools for Live Performance, Song writing, Music Production, Scoring, and lots more.I\'m actively involved with all the Music related Extra Curricular Activities (ECA\'s) such as Rock Band, Personal Project Supervisor, Electronic Dance Music, Children\'s Choir, Teacher\'s Choir and Annual Musical Concerts on various occasions – the Overseas Women Conference (OWC), held annually in December, Music Workshops.As an IB School where Technology is incorporated in to teaching, I\'ve always encouraged students in using musical software and apps for desktops, laptops and iPads. As they progressed to Secondary level students I helped integrate Music with core subjects such as Maths for note numbering, Physics for basic sound designing in Electronic Music - using the given algorithms on music software. The result has been a fun and interactive lessons.
