Uche has more than 15 years’ experience in Upstream Energy Production and Processing - spanning Asset Management and Operations Excellence; Organisational Change, Safety leadership and Cultural Change, Business Analytics & Technology deployment, and Sustainability; Continuous Improvement including Performance improvement through application of High Reliability Organisation (HRO) principles and systems thinking; Leading through Crisis. His leadership experience cut across people development and performance management, coaching and mentoring, safety leadership, external stakeholder management, cross discipline delivery with the last10 years as leader of teams and community. He led enterprise-wide system support by pioneering the first Enhanced Problem-Solving Team in Shell Onshore Nigeria using the Agile framework.In his current role as Production Unit Manager (Operations Manager) of the largest asset in SPDC and a budget of $26million (OP21), Uche leads a team of 400 staff and contractors and integrates across end-to-end business processes and functions, including Production, Development, Engineering, HR, Finance, Commercial, Logistics, Security, and 68 Host Indigenous Communities for business delivery. He pioneered the use of agile in operations which has let to improved efficiency in his leadership team. He is also responsible for tie in and delivery of engineering capital projects (expected additional170KBOE/D by 2023).With a track record in delivering results through technology and digitization in business performance; integrating across organizational boundaries with influence on national policies in certain cases.
