I began my career teaching high school mathematics after earning my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mathematics and Mathematics Education from University of Alabama. Teaching shaped how I approach complex topics—by breaking them down into ideas that people can actually understand and use.After four years in the classroom, I transitioned into the data industry, working as a BI Analyst and Data Scientist. In these roles I built analytics solutions and helped organizations make better decisions with data.Today I work as a Technical Marketing Manager at Altimate AI, where I focus on helping data teams understand and adopt modern data tooling. My work includes technical content, product education, and storytelling that connects complex data infrastructure with the people who use it.My career sits at the intersection of data, education, and communication—bringing a teacher’s mindset to the world of data engineering and analytics.My goal is simple: make data tools easier to understand so teams can build better data systems.
