Python (bertopic, sentence_transformers, torch)- Using a pre-trained Sentence Transformer, generated embeddings to perform BERTopic modelling (unsupervised ML) to cluster topics based on pre-processed email content and flag client complaint exceptions sampled from over eml files. Created a Conda environment using NVDIA CUDA for PyTorch computation to accelerate BERTopic modelling by specifying device=”cuda:0” in the Sentence Transformer. • Python (concurrent.futures)- Leveraged data analytics to investigate appropriate management of material, non-public information disseminated by front office bankers. Utilised Python to parse the metadata of 5 million.eml files on a secure GPU server; parallelized time-consuming code runs by using the concurrent.futures library to convert Outlookfiles into readable pandas DataFrames; identified deal-related mails by filtering using the str.contains() command.• Python (pandas)- Developed a Python script to replace manual Excel PivotTables used in previous processes: using pd.pivot_table, exported automatically generated PivotTables storing internal audit stats to automate Excel spreadsheets using the openpyxl library.• Python (NumPy)- Wrote a function def create_var(): that contains a nested np.where() to create a DataFrame variable based on 3 condition rules: np.where(condition1, “Pending review”, np.where(condition2, “Overdue”, np.where(condition3, to automate dashboards for monthly reporting.• Python (matplotlib/seaborn)- Designed a function that includes pie.plot.pie(y=count, figsize=(3,4), autopct=lambda p:’{:1.0f} & ’.format(round(p)) if p>0 else ‘’, colors=seaborn_color).figure which automatically generates a pie chart to visualize dashboard category percentages, whilst using seaborn_color=sns.set_palette(“#colorcode”) for appealing visualizations.• Delivered Python data wrangling training to colleagues and business units in promoting data analytics usage to automatize repetitive processes.
