ABOUT TY SINCLAIR
Hello, my name is Ty Sinclair. I am a second-year Bachelor of Commerce Co-op student at Dalhousie University with a strong interest in finance and accounting. I previously completed a finance internship with the City of Calgary, where I gained hands-on experience in municipal financial operations and public-sector finance. I am currently working with Clean Foundation, continuing to build practical experience in financial processes, data tracking, and analytical reporting. My goal is to transition into banking, and I am actively seeking my next finance or accounting internship. Through competitive sports as a basketball captain and experience in event coordination, I have developed strong leadership skills, the ability to perform under pressure, and a team-oriented mindset. I combine technical proficiency in Microsoft Suite (including advanced Excel automation), Power BI for financial visualization, PeopleSoft enterprise systems, and research tools such as Factiva and MarketLine with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. I am a quick learner who adapts easily to new financial systems and environments. I am eager to connect with professionals across the finance industry to gain insights and continue progressing toward an analyst career in banking.
