I am responsible for setting annual budgets which will require in-depth understanding of the sales plan for each business unit and how the direct material purchases will be effected by the sales plan along with impact of market indices such as steel, copper, aluminum, labor, logistics etc. Build annual budget/STRAP for Swiger and Relco, and seven Wabtec Global Service sites annually. I ensure the purchasing strategy for the Freight Services businesses is aligned with the America\'s and Enterprise Commodity Managers vision while ensuring that Freight Services sites operations and purchasing teams are also aligned. I am also responsible for driving collaboration among cross functions such as quality, engineering, materials, product management in a global environment that will enable cost benefit and deflation. I manage RFQ, offer evaluation, negotiation and contracting agreements. I Intervene in major supplier issues once escalated, support site with payment term disputes, cash/DTP optimization, terms and conditions, and Supplier invoicing and five support with system updates to payment terms and force payments.
