My job responsibilities include strengthening our interagency partnerships to design a workforce program that offers participants on-the-job training amidst a continuum of care in career development, wellness and restorative care, case management, stable housing, and life skills. I oversee and coordinate workforce cohort members in warehouse and grocery, kitchen, and agriculture management as well as customer and human services. We offer a healing focused workforce program for individuals who currently shop and/or volunteer at our center and/or are receiving crisis and mentoring assistance is a critical step toward our goal of creating stability and economic opportunity for those we have the privilege to accompany.My job responsibilities include: Direct the development, coordination, and provision of a healing and community focused workforce program. Recruit, interview, hire, manage and evaluate candidates. Build and strengthen collaborations with partner organizations to enhance a continuum of care (therapy, housing etc.) outside of the paid work experience and operations at Kinship. Collaborate with management team to place, schedule, and assess job duties on behalf of program participants. Collaborate with human service team to provide case management and necessary referrals on behalf of program participants. Oversee review and assessment of program best practices, program participants, and evaluation of data to improve program outcomes. In collaboration with management team, develop and maintain a database of local area employers for post-program participant placement. Coordinate with program funders to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Work with marketing and communications team to speak to the success and impact of programs.
