ABOUT TYRELL PERKINS

I’m an accomplished IT and Cybersecurity leader with deep experience driving IT operations, cyber defense, and strategic service delivery across complex, mission-critical environments for the Department of Defense. I currently support U.S. European Command (EUCOM) in Stuttgart, Germany under the Enterprise Level IT Expertise (ELITE) contract with iC5i, delivering enterprise IT support and secure network services. My career began with a strong technical foundation in cyber incident management, network defense, and system administration, skills that have evolved into leadership roles where I’ve guided IT transformations, enhanced cybersecurity postures, and led high-performing teams through modernization, automation, and process optimization. I take pride in bridging the gap between technical execution and strategic vision, ensuring technology directly enables mission success. Throughout my career, I’ve managed enterprise-scale IT operations, driven service management excellence, and implemented security frameworks to strengthen risk posture and operational efficiency. My experience spans IT service delivery, vulnerability management, network administration, and the development of scalable, secure systems aligned with organizational and mission priorities. I hold an M.S. in IT Management and a B.S. in Information Technology, along with certifications including CISSP, PMP, CompTIA SecurityX (formerly CASP+), Security+, Network+, A+, ITILv4, and AWS Cloud Practitioner. I also hold an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph. I’m passionate about advancing secure, efficient, and mission-aligned IT operations—continuously learning, adapting, and leading teams to deliver results that matter. I’m proud to bring that same energy and focus to my work with iC5i, where I will continue to invite challenges, as I have no doubt that consistently I will overcome them.
