About Tyrell Mann-Barnes
I am a focused, curious, and ambitious alumnus of Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. My innate passion for education, politics, literature, public health, and medicine led me to pursue a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology and a minor in English. Within my collegiate career, I have continuously exemplified leadership, advocacy, and activism in the effort to expand resources, create inclusive environments, and promote diversity. I am the youngest recipient of the Camden County Martin Luther King Freedom Medal, and I have used my passion and experiences to implement meaningful, positive, and solution-oriented change. Currently, I serve as the Director of the DATA CoLab and Research Project Manager at the District Attorney\'s Transparency Analytics (DATA) Lab in the Philadelphia District Attorney\'s Office. I completed my Master\'s of Public Health at the University of Pennsylvania in August 2022. I was awarded the Public Health Leadership award in my graduating cohort. Ultimately, my career interests focus on merging medicine, research, community engagement, education, and policy through an interdisciplinary approach.
