Made design updates as Responsible Engineer for multiple “heritage” digital boards, so that they can be integrated into a new system and meet the customer’s new specs. Boards included parts such as FPGAs, ASICs, DDR memory, and NAND flash memory. Interfaces include I2C, SpW, SerDES. Created worst case circuit analysis documents on topics, such as signal integrity, digital timing, floatingmetal, logic compatibility, and cold sparing and sneak paths. Updated documents to include feedbackfrom customer and 3rd party reviewers. Troubleshoot in the lab using tools such as bench supplies, oscilloscopes, X Rays, and multimeters tofind manufacturing defects and design issues. Provided detailed feedback during review of other engineer\'s designs that led to schematic changes.Feedback included made recommendations to better adhere to common industry standards for spacecraft design and integration, such NASA-HDBK-4002a, and datasheet recommendations.
