Plan, direct, and supervise all operations included in a large, complex project or several moderately sized projects with greater risk and complexity, and significant financial impact. Resolve complex issues, provide direction to and mentoring to other technical staff in completing project tasks, perform independent technical reviews of engineering reports and designs, and act as primary point of contact with client and have full responsibility for project delivery. Provide responsibility for Project teams that include 10 or more members often representing multiple business lines, working in remote locations and including subcontractor(s). Plan, schedule, conduct or coordinate detailed phases of the engineering project, focusing on the unique or controversial problems. Regularly develop and evaluate project plans, manage Project Schedule and Budget and provide regular communication including project updates to the client. Provide advice and consultation to client on engineering matters, including compliance with government laws and regulations. Work with clients to provide long-term solutions. Demonstrate project leadership in the areas of design, analysis, and construction on various Tailings Dams and Mining projects. Develop project proposals and work with business leader on overall strategy to grow Mining practice.
