I work on the Design System for the Paychex Flex product. Currently we\'re working on rolling out a new iteration of the UI that includes a direct pipeline into development leveraging tools such as Figma, Zeplin, and Storybook. My day-to-day involves managing component requests, maintaining relationships between UX teams and their dev counterparts while still adhering to patterns, design principles, and accessibility when building within our new React based framework. I am responsible for documentation of patterns, usage, and other wikis for components, managing learning resources for Figma, and serving as an advocate for Design System integrity, and longevity at scale. I work closely with Polaris, our framework team, on building out agnostic web components that can adopt a variety of themes based on product need.
