About Tyler Wain

I’m a UX design leader with over a decade of experience turning emerging technology into intuitive, human-centered products. Most recently, I’ve been focused on one of Microsoft’s most ambitious bets: designing Computer Using Agents (CUAs)—AI systems capable of reasoning across tools, taking multi-step actions, and completing complex tasks on behalf of users.As one of a small group leading the UX vision for this new paradigm, I’ve helped define how people interact with AI when the AI itself is the one navigating software. My work sits at the intersection of interaction design, systems thinking, and product strategy—shaping agent behavior, transparency, and trust across enterprise and consumer scenarios.Previously, I’ve led design for products ranging from Microsoft Copilot Studio to global supply chain platforms, driving clarity and cohesion across multi-disciplinary teams.What motivates me is solving ambiguous, high-stakes problems that require cross-functional leadership, thoughtful storytelling, and deep curiosity. Whether I’m sketching on a whiteboard or aligning stakeholders on a product narrative, I aim to make the complex feel approachable—and the future feel usable.
