This year, I am a Make The Magic Coordinator for Kesem at Rhode Island. Camp Kesem is a national nonprofit that supports children through and beyond a parent\'s cancer. Make the Magic is Kesem\'s annual fundraising event. Each Kesem chapter hosts a beautiful and inspiring evening every spring for supporters to come together and hear local campers and their families share their Kesem stories. It’s an evening for those impacted by a parent’s cancer to come together and feel the support of their community and for new friends to learn about the important work the chapter does in the community. Funds raised during our Make the Magic events directly supports the chapter in serving children impacted by a parent’s cancer in their local community. Working as a Make the Magic Coordinator, I will help plan this event, by picking a venue, finding sponsors, organizing catering, and more.
