About Tyler Smith
As an experienced commercial filmmaker and director, I believe the best storytelling is grounded in empathy and authenticity. My mission is to create stories that resonate with both brands and audiences, while putting something positive into the world. Whether it’s crafting an emotionally charged manifesto, scripting a compelling narrative, or exploring a captivating true story through documentary—my goal is to make meaningful, evocative films. I’ve led large teams and provided creative direction for live-action, animation, and mixed-media projects across a wide array of industries. My directing and writing credits include brands such as FIS, Persistent Systems, Oracle, 121 Financial, Goodwill of North Florida, Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida, and Visit Jacksonville.
