As President and Executive Director of Rightfully Sewn, I lead a dynamic nonprofit social enterprise that empowers individuals through workforce development, ethical manufacturing, and economic opportunity. Our work bridges the gap between talent and employment by providing accredited training, wraparound support, and real-world production experience—helping individuals, especially those from underserved communities, build sustainable careers in the sewn products industry.Since stepping into this role, I have guided the organization through transformational change: reversing years of operating deficits, tripling program engagement, expanding training capacity, and securing over $1 million in capital support to fund a new workforce facility. We have increased wages, transitioned part-time roles to full-time positions, and earned a place on Kansas City’s Living Wage Registry.My career has spanned corporate and nonprofit sectors, always centered on operational excellence, strategic growth, and inclusive leadership.
