Responsible for all aspects of planning, promotion implementation, supervision, and evaluation of Parks and Recreation Programs and Community events, as well as scheduling, management, and maintenance of facilities including buildings, fields, playgrounds, swimming pool, and ice skating rink.Establish, implement, and monitor program policies, standards, and procedures for participation and facility use. Evaluate community needs and interests regarding park and recreation programming and facilities. Recommend appropriate action, alterations, and offerings to the Town. Recruit, screen, interview, recommend hiring, train, supervise, and evaluate staff. Prepare and manage annual operating and capital budgets; approve payroll and vouchers. Prepare equipment and supplies; determine service specifications; procure and control required inventory; oversees contract performance.
