Creativity and technology are two passions of mine, which don\'t often overlap. But as the creative director for Nelly\'s Security, I am able to combine these two passions in unique and interesting ways to drive growth in my company and in the security industry as a whole. With a talent for explaining technical details in creative and digestible ways, I\'ve had the opportunity to grow the audience and brand awareness for Nelly\'s Security, increasing sales and customer acquisition exponentially. Through our various media platforms, I\'m able to reach countless security professionals on a regular basis to instill confidence in their ability to sell their products, educate their clients, and grow their businesses. When I started at Nelly\'s in 2018, there wasn\'t a whole lot of content marketing happening in the industry. My boss had a vision for becoming one of the first distributors to really take advantage of digital marketing strategies. He brought me on to help him make that vision a reality. And over the past five years, I\'ve helped Nelly\'s acquire over followers across YouTube and our social media platforms. I\'ve helped to establish a strong brand with a good reputation and solid authority in the security space. And I\'ve had the time of my life doing it. Spending all day playing with security cameras and access control devices, filming tutorials and product overviews, writing blog posts and sales pages, leading creative marketing strategy sessions, and nerding out with likeminded people? Yes, please. Do what you love and you\'ll never work a day in your life. When I\'m not creating content about security technology, you can probably find me spending time with my wife and our three kids on our tiny homestead, playing with our chickens and ducks, going on walks with our two dogs, philosophizing about spirituality and the meaning of life, or obsessing over my current ADHD hyper-fixation (which changes almost on a weekly basis).
