Growing up on a farm that raised swine, I learned early on the values of hard work, adaptability, and problem-solving—qualities that have shaped my approach to actuarial science. My passion for analytics and risk management led me to Illinois State University, where I honed my skills and laid the foundation for a career in the insurance industry.Today, I work in the Property & Casualty Actuarial Department at State Farm, where I’ve gained invaluable experience in both Auto and Homeowners Insurance. My primary focus has been in Private Passenger Auto Insurance, where I leverage data-driven insights to enhance risk assessment and pricing strategies. Recently, I achieved my FCAS designation, a milestone that took years of hard-work and determination. As I look ahead, I am eager to continue growing within the Property & Casualty Insurance Industry, driving innovation and impactful solutions in an ever-evolving industry.
