   Data Science team lead and manager. Re-hired by Director from previous Itron tenure. Leading Data Science effort for a new Distributed Energy Resources (DER) application.* Built (and continue to build) Data Science/Data Engineering team.* Worked with Data Engineer to set up secure Data Science environment in Azure (Azure Machine Learning). Helped develop and debug Terraform templates, set up environment in a secure virtual network, and connect to Kubernetes cluster.* Wrote an internal Python package for common data processing and machine learning tasks.* Experimented with ML approaches for EV Charging detection and disaggregation and then modularized the approach into our Python package.* Closely worked with Product Management to define requirements, develop quarterly roadmap and development features, refine priorities as needed, and ensure we have a regular feedback loop.
