About Tyler Burk
After serving in the Air Force for six years I came to the realization that I had a passion for education and business which led me to pursue my bachelor\'s degree. My journey as a first generation college student started at Grossmont College in San Diego. I have a great appreciation for community college and feel very rewarded to have attended such a high quality school where I met some amazing mentors and peers along the way. After receiving my associate\'s degree I decided to further my education at a four year institution closer to my home of Chicago, so I applied to the University of Illinois at Chicago in their school of Business Administration majoring in Marketing.Even though I have a strong educational affiliation with marketing I also grew a passion for finance and investing in my free time. This led me to pursue, accept, and complete an internship with BMO as a Wealth Management Intern. After my internship I was extended to work part time throughout my last year of college and have accepted a full time position with BMO Wealth Management post graduation.
